Starting RMC Tools

RMC tools tracks the movement and position of machinery in fractions of a second. It is extremely useful when trying to determine issues with movement of carriage knees, edger scan frame cylinder movement, edger saw placement etc. A Cleereman Controls technician likely asked you to keep rmc tools running in order to capture an issue.

Step by Step RMC Tools Monitoring

From the Optimizer HMI, open RMC tools
Open the program designated for you equipment
Open "Plots"
Press the Play "trend" icon to begin monitoring
When the issue occurs, press the stop "trend" icon and notify your Cleereman Controls Technician

Ensure you are always monitoring while running production if you are still having an issue, and your technician asked you to continue monitoring.
