The Cleereman Controls system uses a default set board size of the active species when cutting. It also uses a "fill mask" which is a selection of board and cant sizes used when computing a stack of pieces based on the remaining log axis thickness. Each log axis has its own fill mask which can be useful when cutting specific sized cants.
From the operator display, in the top right open the Default Set
From here you can set the default board size used if no manual input or override is given.
In optimized systems, this will also determine the default opening face desired from the selected board size
From the operator display, in the top right open the Fill Mask
Boards and Cants that are ON will be highlighted green, you can touch the indicator to turn them on and off.
When computing without any other input, the system will put in the first enabled cant that fits, looking at the cant list right to left (should be biggest to smallest). It will then fill the remaining axis thickness with boards, again working right to left putting in as many as will fit before going to the next board size. The set Kerf size is added for each piece that is added to the computed stack.
