HPU Overview

A standard Cleereman System makes use of 4 HPU's. Carriage Drive, Setworks, Turner and Saw HPU. Each HPU has a fan unit, and several sensors to help monitor the system.

Hydraulic Power Unit Overview

Carriage Drive HPU, to power the carriage movement up and down the track
Setworks HPU, to power the carriage knees, and any other on carriage hydraulic functions
Turner HPU, to power the log turner, log deck, any other miscellaneous hydraulic powered equipment
Saw HPU, to power saw adjustment functions, including the optional saw guide
Standard HPU's will ship with two sensor units
1. The first is a oil temp and oil level sensor built into the tank. This can be wired to signal the status of these to our Dispatch Cabinet if included, or through a light/relays if so desired
2. The second is a oil temp sensor, this is sometimes wired to activate the HPU cooling fan when the oil starts to heat beyond optimal temperatures
