The limits set for knee movement can be tied to the state of different carriage function. This is intended to prevent these functions from crossing into the saw line during production which can result in damage to the saw and/or carriage component.
Note: Settings Limits to 0 disables the limit feature for that component
Watch for saw deviation, this is often the cause
Verify Carriage Knee calibration and check for position errors. If it occurs often, run RMC tools to check for errors in knee control or position when it occurs
Check the set limits for the carriage function that crossed the sawline, adjust if necessary
Note: Pusher limit is often set at 0, this helps the operator use it when dumping off the last timber. This makes its position the full responsibility of the operator to prevent saw collision
Carriage Dog, Turner, or Pusher crossed the saw line outside of settings
Limits are restricting the operators ability to run the machine
