Scanhead Calibration is critical for optimized scanning and WISP functionality. It is vital for position the log along the knees, and placing the modeled face at the sawline.
Step by step Scanhead Calibration Procedure
Cut down to a square cant, with a clean corner toward the scan frame.
From the operator display, open the extended console and scanner calibration. Set cant at the sawline.
Ensure the cant dimensions at the knees as measured by the system are correct, if not check knee calibration.
Calibrate the head until the blue dot, and cant data lines up with the expected dimensions of the cant for each laser in the head.
Repeat for each head in the system.
