A Cleereman Controls Carriage System contains Three major system components, as well as a handful of secondary components. The Setworks cabinet acts as the central hub of communication and logic for the whole system. The Setworks Console acts as the operators station, receiving all the inputs from the machine operator. The Setworks HMI provides the information the operator needs when running production, to make the decisions they need to make, and indicates the state of system functions.
Setworks Cabinet, placed inside the saw cab, this is the central brain of the system. The Setworks PLC and RMC as well as the primary network switch are inside this cabinet. All setwork control inputs come into this cabinet, and all outputs come from this cabinet
The Optimizer PC is also mounted inside the cabinet in scanning systems
Setworks Console, placed inside the saw cab in front of the operator. The Console PLC receives all manual user inputs from the operator. Carriage joysticks, foot pedals, and all console buttons signal the Console PLC, which communicates the operators control inputs to the Setworks PLC
Setworks HMI, displays all system and cutting information for the operator. Axis thickness, cutting face, carriage location, saw stack, species selection etc. This also has several troubleshooting pages that can be helpful when diagnosing an issue with the system
