Understanding Log Cutting Axis

Cleereman Carriage Controls uses a two-axis system which is important to understand for accurate functionality. The first face you cut on a log will always be assigned as axis 1, its thickness stored and used for the remainder of the log. Axis 2 will be set on the first face you cut on the off axis, that is perpendicular to axis 1. The Controls system will try to automatically track facing changes, and there are several options, like 90 degree turn, vs 180 turn to try and keep it on axis, but if you cut in a strange way its possible for the axis to get "off" which can result in incorrectly sized lumber. Make sure to keep this in mind during operation.
